Just an observation, I thought the opposing captain sent the word, not the guesser, thats how I've been doing it so far. Not that it make much difference though.

As far as I'm aware the 2 players pick the random words and one of the captains generate the board from that. Totally impartial then.

Yep this I get, but I thought it was the 2 captains who picked the words rather than 1 captain and 1 guesser. As I say, doesn't make much difference but I'm sure I read it in the rules at the beginning somewhere.

The way I've been doing it is that no captain picks a word. Pter gives me our word when I'm captain and the other guesser gives me their team's word. I'll generate the board then. The other captain has no input at all.

I always thought it was the guessers. If both captains picked a word then the captain setting up knows one of the words before board is made and if they wanted could select a favourable board as their chosen word wouldn't be known.

Yes we have been playing as it being the two guessers PM a word to the captains.

Team Doshman unseat Team RPG from top spot for the time being by virtue of a solitary point.
RPG have a game in hand and a stronger scoring difference so their clash with Doshman will be a very exciting one.

Kolijoe and partykitten are the other teams in line for semi final places at the moment, but both teams will have to continue to be in good form to avoid giving up any ground.

Elsewhere, 4 points seperate 3rd from 7th place. Conecro222 picked up a big win but teams below them have at least two games in hand.

With the replay between Team Siberia and Digital Warriors ongoing, a big win could see either team knock Kolijoe out of the semi final places.

Bonus points continue to prove vital, every team with the exception of Team RPG has at least one to their name. That being said, wins are more important of course, and RPG have those in spades with 5 out of 6 being the best rate of any team.
