League Cup Semi- Finals:

1: Team RPG VS Team Siberia - Team RPG will have 8 words in game 1 and 3 (if necessary)
2: Team Kolijoe VS Team Doshman - Team Kolijoe will have 8 words in game 1 and 3 (if necessary)

Semi-Finals can commence whenever teams are ready to play.


As for the other teams....

Team 5 will receive a bye to the final, whilst teams 6 and 7 play off in a best of 3 semi final.

It'd be interesting to see how many games were won by those with 9 word VS those with 8, personally I don't see any advantage either way.

Going first is a plus imo, as is having one less word to clue so it's much of muchness.

I've no preference, I'd say it's 50-50 regardless but if the higher ranked team want to pick then that's fine aswell. I'm easy though, Osh you around this week?

I know its very close, but if there was an edge, we all seemed to believe it was the 8 words before the league, hence home being 8 words.
During the league, i swapped in my belief, and then thought the edge was going first, either way, don't change anything.. I just wanted to know if i was alone in thinking that.

Yeah, I see your point - see duffman's above solution - I'm happy for the higher ranked team to choose to start the first game and have 9 words, with first guess, or have 8 words and go second.

The second game would be a reverse of that regardless.

as for HOME v AWAY its currenty 21-11 with one to play. So Home/8 words have definitely won more games.

Just FYI folks I'm in Germany all next week so will be afk from Sunday 10th to Saturday 16th. So if the first semi-final wants to get underway, this week would be the best time for it.
