She is free range with very accessible housing (accessible to her and foxes) and I am wondering if anyone has experience with foxes & piglets?

I do not have a farrowing crate so the sow will have access to the piglets. Will a sow protect the piglets from foxes or will I have to try and seal off the housing?

(I understand the reasons for a farrowing crate)
(I have 2 sows in the same environment, both Sandy & Black)
(We have nightly visits from foxes as my chickens will testify to)
