I had to take a detour and passed through this fairly substancial town, what the heck is happening with the road?

Are ye serving penance for something down there?

Borrisokane was always part of the North Tipp constituency but as a result of a re-allignment before the last election much of North West Tipp ended up been moved to the Offaly constituency. And as a result of the farcical parish pump political landscape in this country Borris and its surrounding areas have been left out in the cold, someone described us as the 'gazza strip' of North Tipp.

It is really not good enough, shocking to see a main street in this sort of repair. Sounds like a complete disaster of a situation.

I drove through it yesterday, it wasn't the worst road I've been on in N. Tipp in the last week. €25m spent on coco offices a few years back, easy see where priorities lie.

Yeah it's not a recent thing, the roads around this area are some of the worst in the country.
