I've a Europlex Signet 200 (now Vanderbilt) house alarm which I can monitor using the SPC app. I've recently changed internet providers from Virgin to Vodafone. Is there Vanderbilt software that I need to download to the Vodafone modem in order to get the SPC app connected to the alarm system once again?

Once the DHCP is enabled it should work fine. It just needs an Internet connection.

DHCP is enabled, however, when I try to access my panel on the SPC Connect app I'm told 'This panel is not accessible (online status 'Fault')'

Try reseting the panel and reboot the modem.

Try reseting the panel and reboot the modem.

Deleted the panel and tried to re-register it but I'm getting this message:
Cannot add a panel to your account while the panel is OFFLINE.

I re-booted the modem but it made no difference.

You'll need to check if the panel is getting an IP over DHCP first. Go to the panel and check if it got an IP (it may have been set to static in a different subnet too as different modems use different subnets by default depending on which one).

If it isn't, it's no harm to power cycle the panel

Is the panel connected directly to the router.?
Do you know what version of firmware is on the panel.
Might be worth upgrading to the latest which is 3-8-5.
Many of the upgrades address issues with different routers/modems.
If you dont have it I can provide a link for you.
Also let me know the IP of your modem & I will give you some manuals settings to use with fixed IP instead of dynamic.

Is that your external IP address?
If so best to remove it.
Whats the internal IP address of your router?
    Usually in the range 192.168.***.***

    Here is firmware version 3-8-5

Finally getting around to updating my alarm system:rolleyes:

My internal IP address is: 192.168.1.1

I've downloaded firmware 3.8.5 and am trying to follow the instructions per the video at:

    https://www.spcsupportinfo.com/SPCConnectPro/support/how-to-update-your-spc-system/

however, I have the Europlex control panel that came with the Signet 220 and am struggling to find out how to grant access to engineer and manufacture (assuming I need to do this if my system is grade 2/3....). Also do I update to the 3.8.5 files using my account that I access via www.spcconnect.com?

Also, as per previous post, I am unable to connect my panel as it's offline - so presumably I can't update to 3.8.5 until I get it back online....

Sorry for the basic questions - I haven't updated the firmware previously.

You can upgrade your panel over Lan without an internet connection.
I would recommend upgrading to 3-8-5
Then enable DHCP and restart the panel.

If you need any help after that come back to me here.
