Phone use in Mexico/USA

Both myself and my partner have Eir business accounts and we are travelling to Mexico and the USA in the coming few days.
Can we continue to use our phones as normal with our included roaming or are we going to be subject to horrendous charges for using our phones there?
I can’t seem to find any answer online.

Luckily I rang customer care and eventually got through to someone who was very helpful.
