Finance charge on credit card

I have an avantcard, which I refer to as my running away card as it is a very high credit limit. I paid the outstanding balance in full last month before the due date..129.22, and expected the bill to be clear. Opened it today to find a finance charge of 1.40. They can't explain why i have a balance! They did waive it but…
