To be honest there's not too many players in that team I'd be sad to see the back off. Which is pretty damning really.

Why not? It's not rocket science to put in a shift and press. Our fellas did it for 20 minutes then conceded a soft goal and just gave up.

The entire defence, with the exception of Bailly because we know he’s a good player, is poor. We have 2 full backs who are supposed to be wingers, but aren’t good enough to be wingers. Then there’s Smalling.....

With players like that you can’t compete with good teams. We’ve spent a fortune but bought poorly in a lot of respects.
