Has anyone had any experience in returning a handset during the cooling off period?

I upgraded my mobile but I'm not happy with the phone.
Do I have 7 or 14 days to return?
Is it a difficult process to return and get refunded?
Do I get back the full price that I paid?
Do I have to pay to have it returned to eir?
How long does the refund take?

    Any help would be appricated.
    Thanks.

    Hi mel9385,

Can you confirm where and when you purchased the handset?

    Thanks,

    Sarah

    Thanks Mel,

If you order online or over the phone then the cooling off period is 14 days. In order to arrange the return of the phone you would need to contact 1901 and request to speak with our retention department and they will post a jiffy bag to you that you can return the phone in.

Once the phone has been returned and inspected, you should receive a full refund within 30 days providing there is no physical damage.

    Thanks,

    Sarah
