I never post here something out of the blue directed at anyone. I feel it is targeting someone to do it, when it has absolutely nothing to do with me.

I am not like Yes people here who act all gullible that the side they support only puts out the truth and no lies.

Lies which you are apparently incapable of recounting here.

The Adoption Rights Alliance is advocating repeal. They wrote a very strongly worded paper on it too.

What I mean apart from the individual case mentioned, is the general lack of resources to handle child protection that is ignored by the prolife groups, and by some that child protection legislation shouldn't be applied to the act of confession gives credence to the 'once their born forget about them' image for me personally.

While there are I'm sure people who are people who are prolife and will be voting to retain the 8th, who do a lot of work and community activites with children and will be sickened by the prime time report and the case itself; But if one of the victims had fallen pregnant and wished to terminate their pregnancy well that's just their bad luck isn't it.

    Please answer my questions first.

Look at this thread, there was the denial of the 12 weeks, oh it has nothing to do with the referendum and we don't know what will be introduced.

Today when it suits to say 12 weeks will be restricted, this gets posted.

One minute I am accused of telling lies, then the same proposed abortion law is used and a bunch of sheep are thanking it because it is their side of the argument.

Here the same person said this in a reply to "ok then what do you believe will be introduced as abortion law?
Don't know is not an answer given we know what is proposed.":

I'm not making up that you are telling lies, you are most definitely spreading lies and misinformation all over this thread.

I've read what is proposed, and it is just that, a proposal. It is lies to make out that if the 8th is repealed these proposals will come into legislation when the government have to vote on it.

So maybe January was too busy telling me I lie when she used the same proposed legislation which she called a lie...
Is January saying she is a liar for using the same proposed legislation which I used and which she claimed was part of me spreading lies and misinformation all over the thread...?
btw I don't think she lied when she used the proposed legislation. I think she lied when she accused me of lying and then went ahead and used it herself anyway.

So no actual lies then. Glad that’s sorted.

    Killing the unborn is compassionate.
Healthy women killing healthy unborn lives is healthcare.

Yes side telling men talk to your sisters, your mother, girlfriends because they are all apparently Yes voters, another lie.

Yes posters with no mention of the unborn, just slogans which could mean anything. Actively trying to be untruthful about abortion.

Really, most will see Socialist feminists and think...lefty preachy feminists, not to mention the hand grabbing something in the womb with a Yes...in a quest to legalise abortion more widely.

Well most people who don't like feminists might think that, but perhaps their the type who would vote retain anyway. Not that some feminists don't annoy everyone at some stage.

As for the hand in the womb, nope anyone who is even close to voting age knows the Venus sign, the socialist raise fist symbol even if one of them doesn't know it one of their friends will, or they'll search for it, their not all as thick as John McGuirk believes they are or would like people to think they are.

If you think the above are lies, then what do you think is the thinking behind them? Why do you believe people are lying in order for the 8th to be repealed? What benefit would it be to anyone?

None of those are lies. Stop reaching, you'll fall off the high horse you think you are on.

It can be a bit like 'How many Yes voters does it take to change a lightbulb?' at times in here, when one gets multiple replies to one post.

Ok, but actual evidence of lies by the Yes side.

Not misrepresentations of what you think they’re saying.

I am on no horse, so is it ok for January to say I lied when I used the proposed legislation but ok when she used the exact same legislation to support her point?

It is a lie to make out the proposed 12 weeks abortion regime will be restrictive, as if waiting 3 days stops it...

That’s subjective though so not a lie.

I thought the restrictive referred to the 12 weeks limitation as opposed to a longer period rather than the 3 days cooling off period.

    No one is above lies.

Sometimes people intentionally lie, other times unintentionally lie. People who intentionally lie are stupid. I give opinion which some believe are lies but I don't believe they are.
Then it becomes a matter of how someone else interprets my opinion.

Waiting 3 days is not restrictive, do women who go to England have their abortion the next day after they decide on abortion?

Don’t know, think it’s done on the same day that they travel but there may be phone consultations beforehand. I’m guessing, I’ve no idea.

But limiting the term during which a woman can have an abortion to 12 weeks IS restrictive when compared to the UK which I think is 24 weeks.

That’s why it’s restrictive, not because of the 3 day cooling off period.

That’s my understanding of it anyway.

I think they are just pointing out another very obvious and rather embarrassing lie by the save the 8th side.
There is a thread here pointing out blatant lies in this referendum and I don't think many/any of them have been from the yes side.

Also you seem to be confusing a lie and an opinion.

Well according to some of the prolife 'once I sat down and thought about it' stories maybe it will, and maybe it won't because unlike what the prolife side are stating women aren't going to have an abortion on a whim.

You can say that's opinion but actually it's pretty much human nature people don't make snap decisions about stuff like this, not even some women.

Also compared to other counties it could be considered restrictive including I believe the U.K. whose abortion regime is constantly discussed on here.
But that doesn't make it a lie as you claim, subjective possibly given a persons opinion, sort of like seeing a fist in a womb.

Disagreeing with a point of view doesn't make it a lie.

Actually taking the truth, and lying about it, makes it a lie.

Do the "Yes side" tell lies? Dunno, probably, everyone does. Have the "Yes Side" lied about anything to do with this referendum? Not that I've seen.

And when pointed out a BLATANT lie, you immediately went with "Well, everyone lies." Do you realise how you sound?

You've been called out on "Keep em breeding for the pension fund," you've been called out on posting incorrect figures, and many others, but you're defence is "January said something different to someone else"?

    Please :eyeroll:

There was me thinking this was about the health and decision of the woman, at least it's now referred to as unborn aka not alive

But hey maybe they should show in proportion images of a fetus at 12 weeks
