Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Job vacancy enquiry to Top 20 firms

I would be grateful for pointers that can be offered in relation to how to make general enquires for vacancies with Top 20 firms.

Already ACCA qualified, and hoping to complete CTA exams this summer - I want to return to an accounting role having worked outside accountancy in general management for past 8 years - prior to which I worked in practice.

I want to canvass Top 20 firms with CV and cover letter but wonder how this should be directed.. should I just send addressed vaguely to Head of Tax at each firm? I know it's better to show time taken on research to identify specific contacts, but thinking in top 20 firms there may be numerous tax managers, each responsible for making appointments to their own teams.

Can anyone make suggestions how best an approach should be made, to ensure communications reach the most relevant managers/partners - particularly anyone with direct experience of recruitment processes from withinthese firms.

    Many thanks in advance.
