Might be of interest to someone here. its the second tier colleges competition, cant remember the name. Is it Trench Cup?

Great stuff, nice bonus on a Wednesday night.

Is there a link for that, I can’t see it.

Great start for Carlow. Poor tactics by UCC, passing the ball literally 10 times and still inside their own half.
Their centre back was poor form the first goal, gave away a free, got booked and missed a free-bad start indeed.
Kingston is a beautiful hurler in the corner and has looked very sharp.

    Limerick Waterford is off.

Probably would have been better if the GAA just called off all games in block. At least then every county would be at same stage

is Clare v laois definitely going ahead? seems odd that a game in Ennis would go ahead when games in Galway and limerick were called off. orange weather warning is for West coast isn't it?

The Clare county board have done a lot of work with the drainage of the pitch so that won't be a problem. It's the 70 mph winds that will be the main issue. The GAA are giving the ultimate 2 fingers to players and fans with this rubbish carry-on. I'm raging with anger. Once again the interests and safety of players, management's and fans are not a top priority with the GAA blazers in Croke Park.

Yes that's what I was thinking too. A pitch being playable is one thing but whether a game should be played during an orange weather warning and all that comes with that is another matter. might be called off closer to throw in which brings other problems as people will have travelled already

Clare and laois shown live ahead of Wexford v Kilkenny? Strange.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,916 ✭✭✭Brian017

Do we really need a full production team for a live match? They could've just let the commentary team at Wexford Park handle HT too and show that live instead

Clare and laois shown live ahead of Wexford v Kilkenny? Strange.

Since the featured live game between Galway and Tipp got called off in Salthill the sensible option for production crews was to go to Ennis and with that the Clare v Laois is the live game.

What time is the Clare game going to start and also the Wexford game after i presume?

I checked the Tg4 website and they have Tipp game first just before two p.m.?

    Confusing baxtards!

Tipp v KK drawn 2014 final is one of best hurling games I've witnessed. Last 10 minutes were phenomenal and think were barely two scores made during it.
