Thought TG4 might have shown Cuala and Crokes today. Was good close game in final last year and will most likely determine who wins Dublin.

That would have been a great one to show

Jeez the standard in this Monaghan county final is poor enough.
The basic skills are lacking in a good few and some look less than fully fit!

Hopefully it picks up a bit

It didn’t pick up a bit

Dublin hurling final is on Dubs TV at 4 showing Crokes and Boden. Available from link on DCB site or google Dubs TV live stream. Should be decent game.

DTV can be a bit hit and miss with tendency to freeze and just go off the air! But great idea nonetheless.

I shall be there hoping that both lose :)

Oh, and Faughs to lose B final …… so much bitterness. so little time!

I think Mayo show club games online too. If you're into that sort of thing like.

They're showing the Galway intermediate football final replay (two Gaeltacht teams involved) on their youtube channel on Sunday - maybe that's why they're not covering another game live or deferred

First game between Ballygunner and Ballyhea was brilliant. Draw in normal time and the extra time before Ballygunner won in níos mó am bhreise!

No-one seemed exactly sure what was going to happen after end of normal extra time and Ballygunner manager was getting a bit irate. Not seen this extra ten minutes before. Had that ended in draw then it was shoot out on 65s, then who could eat the most hard boiled eggs in a minute.

The standard in hurling was phenomenal. Two very good teams, could of went either way!

Pity they wouldn't show another couple of club games on delay instead of that muck in America, though they probably haven't that many units to send around to games here.

Yeah, they're all off in bloody Boston instead.

Utter madness that resources are being dedicated to that nonsense in Boston and Oz, that no one give a damm about.

And by give a damm, I mean a genuine damm, not just idle curiosity to see how so and so on the fringes of the panel gets on, or how so and so coming back from an inury gets on, or how so and so Big Name Former Hurler of The Year is motoring. It's November. None of it matters, when the games that DO matter are so far away.

I'd say they don't have any resources out in the US and they're just getting a feed from there. They're probably using the few units they have on the club games they're showing but it's still a pity.

Somebody is lugging camera to the stadiums, wiring them up and filming the games and then there is the match commentary. Some one somewhere is paying for all that. Hiring a US or Oz based film crew may reduce the costs, but it all still costs money. So does flying Marty Morrissey out to Australia.

The Australian was rte wasn't it? Though at least that was hurling unlike Boston.

Do you mean full delayed coverage of two more games immediately after the 1.30 pm to 5 pm slot? That would be too much of a marathon for me, and I think it might upset the non sports viewers.

Connacht final Ballintubber v Corofin the live game next Sunday on Tg4 at 2pm
Kilmacud Crokes v Portlaoise deferred coverage.

The matching helmets look well. They should do that in hurling too.
