Credit Union

Hi guys, no bashing please - just a genuine question. So basically, I need a loan of €700 urgently this week. I have a credit union account, but haven’t saved with them in over a year and I’m pretty sure I have like €5 in my account.
Do you think they will give me the €700 loan, if I provide my employment details, etc? I had a loan with them before and paid that off without any hassle. Thanks in advance!

All you can do is apply?

@Stheno That’s true! I screwed up with the bank a few years ago, when I was 18 so can’t turn to them there as my credit rating isn’t the best since.
Hopefully the credit union will help me out as I don’t want to have to turn to loan shark/payday loans etc!
    Thanks!

Could you as a complete back up ask for a upfront on wages.

    Don't go loan shark road.

Credit union are now as hard as a bank to get a loan and look for at least 3 months of bank statements and any other bill such as credit card etc.

If your credit rating is bad it's going to be extremely unlikely.

@punisher5112 Thanks for your reply! I could do that, because I work part time I don’t think I will get it though!
Even though, I repaid my last loan with CU and no problems? I can try anyways, all they can say is no!
