I'm very interested in the 65 inch hisense but I notice that it can't be bought online. Is this due to the size of the screen? Bit too much of a trip from cork to collect it and I doubt it would fit in the car anyway!

Hi Diego,

When a TV becomes unshippable it's usually because of pricing and stock availability. The only 65" Hisense I would be able to ship at the moment is the 65NU8700 at £1099:

Let me know what you think.

Kind regards

How does it compare to the 6800?is it significantly better given the price difference? Its a bit over the budget that I was looking at, so would have to have a think about it.

Hi Diego,

The 8700 is a much better panel in terms of colour contrast and motion. It provides a more stable image and is less "jittery" on moving images.

Let me know what you think.

Kind regards

David

How does the LG65UJ670V compare in terms of quality to the hisense tvs that we've just discussed? I'm trying to keep my budget closer to the €1k mark. In terms of usage, I watch a lot of sport and other than that it's Netflix that I mostly use. I'm obviously trying to future proof as much as possible.

Hi Diego Murphy.

The LG 65UJ670 is also a very good television and has been very popular in all its sizes.
It would be a tough call but the Hisense with its ULED technology would give the better image.

You could maybe also look at the Samsung UE65MU6400 which is the same price as the Hisense at £1099.00
http://www.richersounds.ie/p-202596-ue65mu6400.aspx

I could get a tiny bit lower on the 65MU6400 to £1080 with free shipping and would include our 6 year guarantee.

We also have on a crazy deal the Panasonic 65EX700 for just 1099 Euro delivered. That makes it Euro for Pound on this one. (While stock lasts).

I'm terms of overall quality, which would be the best TV of the Samsung, hisense and the Panasonic?

Hi Diego Murphy.

There is no real right or wrong answer unfortunately as each of these televisions are very good.

The Panasonic and Samsung would be my two picks as the top performers.

For overall bang for buck the Panasonic would win hands down at the 1099 Euro price as it is normally closer to 1299 Euro just like the Samsung.

Thanks Kenny. I'm going to go with the Panasonic. What would you recommend for a wall mount? I don't need it to necessarily swivel but I will need easy access to ports at the back of the TV. Have you any deals on wall mounts at the moment?

Hi Diego Murphy.

No deals on wall brackets at the moment but we always try to offer some discount on them if buying with a TV.

To fit the 65EX700:

Flat to the wall there is the Sanus VLL5 priced at £59.00 - I could offer at £40.00
http://www.richersounds.ie/p-12678-vll5.aspx

A tilting bracket there is the Sanus BLT2 retailing at £79.95 - I could drop to £55.00
http://www.richersounds.ie/p-202750-blt2-b1.aspx

Or for a full motion bracket there is the Sanus BLF228 retailing at £179.00 - I could go to £120.00

Well my brand new 65 inch Panasonic arrived on Good Friday. I think I'd only put the order in on Wednesday morning. Richer Sounds certainly lived up to their reputation. I love the TV and the Sanus wall mount that I bought with it is solid as a rock and anyone with any bit of Diy ability could put it up.

I may not leave the house again but tbh the picture quality makes it feel like I'm out and about!

Thanks again guys for all your help!

Would 100% agree, got mine on Good Friday too and got it straight on the wall, I loved the picture quality of the 55" MU6400 I got from you before but the
Panasonic blows it out of the water and now looks like a portable if I move from one room to the other.

Thanks again.
