Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not entirely sure if that was an interesting or appropriate interview for a prime time chat show. It was basically "How I became seriously ill in the last year".

It was more like something you'd hear as a magazine feature on morning radio.

In fairness we only had 2 cancer conversations tonight

It’s known as the misery slot in these parts. No LLS finishes without one.

Seems a nice guy to be fair

I like Julian. He is always so positive.

Edit: Haha. Just as I wrote that, he says his Mum always instilled positivity.

He does come across as a nice guy. I enjoy him on DWTS even though he can be OTT at times!

And a fairly basic one. People (unfortunately) can fall very seriously ill. Is that really prime time chat show stuff though? As I said further up, it's more like a filler item from morning radio.

Ah you were so brave to go through that ordeal, Donie.

I would love it if you went on the LLS to help other sufferers of lost lense trauma.

    I'd love to.

"So, Ryan, dig this, sometimes you're health isn't in serious danger at all! Imagine! Ask me how I felt when I got the news that there is not now, nor was there ever anything wrong! HOW DID I FEEL, RYAN!?"

I went under a general anaesthetic this morning for leg operation, woke up very much myself! Modern anaesthetic are like magic, you wake up sharp and crisp and feeling very clear headed.

I've went under a couple, I do be terrified I won't wake up or they will make a balls of me before I go under, you say prayers to all sorts and if you see a magpie that morning your bricking it.

Did someone shout something from the audience?

A few times! There was a lot of worried glances from the staff

Were they gargled, mentally unstable or just having the craic?

Couldn’t make it out so I reckon Tourette’s. What happened to the home of the year people?? Does anyone know? We were not told and they had asked for photos of houses etc to be sent in too.

They were mentioned online and in the adverts etc and we got emails this week about them being on it and a competition with them too.

I totally would. I rarely ever watch it anymore. But the time flew tonight. It was definately an experience and Tubs was fairly chatty and friendly behind the scenes. It was cool to see the set and I have no idea how they fit the toy show in!

Heard a strange fact on the toyshow today, one i wasn't expecting, that on the night of it, Pornhub's ratings go down... no pun intended ;)

Btw: How long did ya have to wait for tickets?

To be honest I don’t remember when I applied. I think it’s just random selection not “in order”

Good spot! I even copied and pasted it from RTE’s website...

As they travel around the country looking at some of the most beautiful houses in Ireland, Hugh Wallace, Deirdre Whelan and new judge Patrick Bradley tell Ryan Tubridy what it takes to be declared 'Home of the Year'.
