Mobile phone recommendations?

Howdy!

Can anybody recommend a good mobile phone for my Mam? she's 80 and wears glasses. We have bought her phones in the past, but I think the screens are too small and typing is too difficult on the small phones.

She would use the phone for texting, phoning, WhatsApp.

Is there a model that anybody can recommend?

Windows Phones were perfect for the elderly, but they are gone.

Doro also do a smart phone. I can't comment on how suitable it is though.

My father got two "Brondi" ones, a clamshell one and a "normal" one, but we wouldn't recommend them at all, they're quite complicated to use (e.g., just to get to your texts you'd need to manoeuvre through at least 6 steps, that's two more than my old "normal" clamshell phone. Trying to send a text or to add a phone number to your phonebook is even more cumbersome, as is trying to change the predictive text to something else. Frankly, I'm not a complete luddite, but these are enough to make you want to pull your hair out, they're not intuitive at all. The only positive is the big font, and the ringtones have a reasonable volume.

Consider something with stock Android it's just less hassle
