Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Listening to to drunken eejits debating over what the capital of Italy is.

    "It's not Rome"
    "It's not Milan"
    "I think it's Rome"
    "I think it's Luxembourg"

Funny to listen to but also exasperating at the lack of general knowledge.

My niece and nephew met for the first time today,my nephew is 8months this week and my niece is 9months ,we sat them down together and my nephew kept pulling her ear and she was not impressed and kept crawling away from him and he was rolling around giving out mad as if to say "c'mere girl, where ya going" :3 later on then I was playing peek a boo with my niece , I was putting a peak cap.over my face and then she was taking it off and I was going "boo" well she was howling with laughter at me :3 lovely hearing babies laugh heartily, good for the soul :3

I met a 3 month old Newfoundland/Bearnese Mix yesterday. She was absolutely adorable and left a lovely slobber on my new coat :pac:

    Anyone else druuuuunk?

The new Lion King trailer has me happy this morning.

It's a funny thing but because of my age people mistake me for an adult.

Finally got a pair of dark blue denim, that have the rightish cut and heavy enough for an outdoor winter.
Best bit is that they are less than 30€.

Helped a poor older lady that took a nasty fall in town. She was so grateful. I couldn't leave her on her own like that. It's so nice when you have an opportunity to help others.

The girl who did my nails today suggested I got some glitter on my ring fingers. I went with a really nice light grey colour, and a dusting of silver glitter on each ring finger.

Just looking at it makes me smile, I love it. I'm not one to try new things very often but this was definitely a success!

Love getting glitter on one nail when I get them done! Really just does add a little something :)

    Two TH :

One from yesterday. After spending Thursday night sleeping on a chair in the hospital, the sleep I got on Friday night was like "a free trial of death", to quote my son's words :D Rarely happens to me, I'm a bad sleeper, but that felt sooo goood.

Today's TH : I finished my online course, submitted my final assignment this morning ! Phew ! The Making a Murderer procrastobsession was strong, but I was stronger. :D

TH I have my appetite back. Last week I could only manage some soup, but to day laid into a roast beef dinner.

My lovely turf and wood stove that is radiating intense heat and heating the water. Cheers the very soul. Dug by my neighbour by hand just behind the dwelling .... And a small, small cat who is perching on my hand nibbling my knuckles and purring her heart out. who until a few weeks ago was a wee lost soul.

I finally finally got my hair done! I really didn't like the colour it was when I got it done in the UK but it's kind of hard to go to the hairdressers when you're agoraphobic :p Anyway I finally got so fed up of my hair that I decided to go and get a colour and a cut today. I got about 3 inches off the length and it's a lovely brown with blonde highlights and a full fringe. Instantly feel better about myself. Sad as it is, I also feel like I managed to achieve something that I haven't been able to do for a while :)
