Hurray, just returned from a friends place with my new bread maker.:)

It’s an old, sturdy and reliable „Le Caf“ BGB 404. One of the very early models. Just have to find a manual for it. :P

Astonishing what one can transport on the back of a bicycle. As long as the will is there.:D

Happy I managed to install the printer here, but not happy that it telling me it is not connected when it is and when it actually printed one thing... maybe need a new usb cable? Ah well, printed most of the readings for tomorrow so it can wait until next week ... can cables fail like that

Watching the kitten when the printer was working! So funny

Grace, can you connect the printer to Google Cloud Print? I did that, but can't remember how. :o

No; it is the USB cable at fault. I need to buy another. It was printing fine then on and off. Happy with that. My expert friend here concurs.... not urgent as this was the first time I had needed the printer except for copying in literally years.... need new inks so tesco tomorrow hopefully

Have the tree and decorations up!

If I was posting during the process of putting them up it would've been in the TA thread but happy it's done now. Love Christmas. Probably my favourite time of the year.

No good news of the Intranet all weekend, ie all more work and disheartenmeant.
Today a note for one of the lecturers giving a heads up on the criteria for the year long case study, and I know what I want to do it on!!

TH Means that I can get started at the end of this week and hopefully get it finished earlier as well.

My mother's husband is not a nice man. Someone I know just confirmed in a very damning way. Their nickname for him was a not so nice historical figure. I know it's not nice but it's nice to know other people see through him.

When I was in the local PO, I went to pay a domestic bill, then I found that it was 15e light.
So I used my own money to top it up completely, leaving me with a few e for restorative chokky.

I checked the price carefully, heald my breath and went to pay for them, somewhere there was a breakdown in communications and I got both things I wanted for less than the marked price.

So two chokky's AND change headed back to my nice warm office block.
