Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just poured myself the biggest glass of wine. I’ve nowhere to be for the next few days only chilling at home with family and some nights out with friends who are home for Christmas. Nothing major to report happiness wise but I feel content. I wouldn’t usually be a massive fan of this time of year but so far so good.

The best kind of happiness :) Have a great time!!

My TH is the undeniable intense attraction I'm feeling for someone.

Yesterday I posted in the TA thread that my cockatiels wrecked my raincoat by eating the zip (for some reason they are obsessed with zips and those dangly things that hang off the strings on hoods*). I was pretty annoyed because I didn't think I would get a better one but today, low and behold, I came across one that is just as good but even better! It is fleece lined on the inside, so not only is it waterproof, it's also warm. So in a round about way the cockatiels did me a favour but I'm not telling them that :p

*Does anyone know what those things are called? It's the plastic thing that is at the end of a draw string on hoodies, to stop the string falling out of the hoodie. My cockatiels absolutely love them and I'd love to know if I could buy them on there own, as I know they'd love them on a string or something.

Thanks but it's not what I'm looking for. It's a little plastic thing with a spring device that allows you to move up and down something by pushing a button. I'm not explaining it right, which is probably why I can't find the correct name for it :o

My youngest son who would only go on stage for school plays and not take part in anything in previous years was brilliant in tonight's play. He did everything he was meant to do. I'm so proud of him. I couldn't believe how well he did.

Yes! That's it :) I'm going to buy loads and hang them so the cockatiels can chew on them and not my clothes lol :D

I don't know why they are so obsessed with them but it really does give them hours of entertainment!

It's Friday and we are finished soon enough. I stripped my bed this morning and I'm going to buy a new duvet. Getting ready for hibernation for the bones of 10 days.

Saw one in Argos that's €50 but am wondering would Penneys bet a better option...

Boxing and whist is a great combination- who would have thunk! Pumped after training and played aggressively on the front foot, forcing the issue! 😂 😝😜🤣☺️

Schools out for Christmas-not a fan of children giving out cards (some children forgotten) or gifts to teacher (some can’t afford to) but, one of my Junior Infants brought in a pencil & eraser for everyone in her class. So cute (& clever of her parents)

Rang a chipper my wife will be passing in an hour to see if they will be open as he only opens when they get fresh fish delivered.

He's open and today the fish is Cod, oh mamma mia.

This isn't a TH, it's a monster happy. I try to be a good neighbour to the people next door. Take in a parcel if they are out, bring their little boy to school if the Mam is sick, feed the dogs and cats when they are away. Not major stuff. They are away for Christmas, and I'm looking after their pets again. They told me to look in the kitchen, and there was a hamper of gluten free goodies for me, plus wine. I was so shocked I cried.
