I rewatched a movie that came out a few years ago. After the movie, I was reading through the Boards thread for it. I read a particular post that I thought was well written and I completely agreed with it. I went to thank it but found the thank button was missing.

Turns out it was a post I wrote myself a few years ago. Good to know I still agree with myself. :D

A fly buzzing around my room just got caught in a cobweb. People think I'm lazy for not knocking down cobwebs, but no, they are organic fly catchers. That's my story, and I'll keep saying it! (I wonder could I market that idea, Genuine Irish Organic Fly Catchers)

I was chatting to someone the other day and all of a sudden I went into psychosis (which is something that happens when I get really stressed and I start hearing voices), I started to talk aloud as I was hearing voices, the other person said to me 'aspie you're talking to yourself again'. This made me laugh and I made a joke of it at the time. Having psychosis is extremely frightening but I try to make light of a bad situation:)

It had better be a big do!💫

Met an old friend today who has had a hip replacement. Doing very well and great to see the constant pain gone from his face.

My visit to the hygienist yes wasn't anything like as bloody, preachy, bruisey as I though it was going to be.

Early days. A complicated one so not sure what's going to happen but it's a nice distraction if nothing else.

Glad your friend is doing so well.

Nice to hear as I was at the dentist the other day myself.
Really was a piece of cake and it's seems to be healing just fine.
I was worried about it getting infected but all good.

I've had a packed house all week but in about six hours I'm going to have the place to myself for four whole days. Four whole days of peace. It's going to get depraved.

Well, after I strip the beds and do the laundry and clean up the kitchen and wash the floors and get a carwash and do the weekly shop and bake a cake for a friends birthday on Monday and drop off a suit to the cleaners and clean the oven.

After that it's going to get depraved.

I'll be deep in the Netflix queue with a big bag of something crunchy and a tub of Celebrations.

    Like I said, depraved! :)

I love when I'm watching a movie and I notice a subtle connection to another movie. For example,

In The Hunt For Red October from 1990, Sam Neill plays the first officer who is defecting to America with his Captain. In one scene, he says to him that he is really looking forward to seeing Montana. In Jurassic Park from 1993, we are introduced to Sam Neill's character at a dinosaur dig in Montana.

Also, when Christophe Waltz first meets Lea Seydoux's character in the Bond movie Spectre, he says "I once visited your house to talk to your father". That is exactly what happened at the start of Inglorious Bastards. Lea had a tiny role as one of the farmer's daughters.

A small flock of Long Tailed Tits in the garden: They're among my favourites and haven't been here in a while. I love the chatter of them in the trees.
