    Hello

I am hoping to build a house without a mortgage and get a small loan to finish off the build. Has anyone been lucky to be a position like this. What are the legal elements that would need to be considered (if any), would a engineer need to ne signing each stage of the build also? I could not see any thread related to this so.

    thanks

Technically I think you don't need an engineer to sign off anything Most only need it for the bank However you could have trouble if you ever try to sell it
