Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi folks,

From the 9th of April, Marble City Cyclers are starting a beginners cycling group on Monday nights. If you would like to get fit, are training for an event or are looking to meet new people, why not give this a try out.

Get the skills and confidence of riding with groups while improving your health and well being. We start with the basics to help you improve your bike skills and knowledge.

    What you will need:
    A bike (obviously)
    A helmet (mandatory for insurance)
A saddle bag containing 2 spare tubes, tyre levers and a puncture repair kit
    A pump
A foldable rain jacket (Irish weather!)
    A drink/snack

The group spins will leave from the castle gates @7pm every Monday from the 9th of April and all are welcome.

Feel free to pm if there are any questions.

Hi. They start off at approx. 20k at an easy pace until people are comfortable riding in a group and build from there.

We encourage people to use a roadbike - the flat handlebars of a hybrid bike can be a danger if they get caught in the handlebars of a roadbike. They are also less aerodynamic.

Is there any way you could borrow a roadbike to see if you like it?
