Closing account with BOI UK (NI account)

    Hi, 

    I opened a current account in Northern Ireland with BOI UK and was wondering how I go about closing the account as I have since moved back to Dublin and opened an account with BOI here. I can't find an option for an account closure form online. Will I have to send a letter to the branch in Northern Ireland?

    That's correct, you'll need to send a letter of request to the branch to close the account or call into your local NI branch.
