Granite slab problem

We left a metal bucket outside on the granite slabs over the winter, in an unseen corner, now there's a big rust stain on the slab, unseen, but driving me mental ! Is there anything I can buy to remove the stain, I was going to wire brush it but was told this would just drive the stain deeper ?

You could try owatrol netrol. Its a good product that isn't too harsh on the stone so it won't remove your stain bit leave one slab looking different to the rest. I've used it on wood to clean up decking and rust stained concrete. I thought it was expensive for the jar of netrol but it worked well both times so in hindsight it was good value for money

If all else fails, use the spot for a potted plant!

owatrol netrol worked a treat, not cheap but did the job and saved my sanity, thanks. was going to go the flower pot route but the stain would still be in my head !

I’ve read that Vitamin C has enough antioxidant to remove rust stains.
