    Hi guys I’m just wondering if you sell this tv. Currys have it on special at the moment but I would prefer to buy it from yourselves if you have any specials on for this weekend.

    Hi BeeBob.

    Thanks for the post.

    Unfortunately we are totally out of stock on the 55C7 and no current ETA for more stock if any.

    We do stock the 55B7 at the same price which is the same television except the C7 has a different stand and a Black frame to the silver on the 55B7.
    The 55B7 is also priced at £1499.00.

    Let me know your thoughts.

    Hi RicherSounds team,

    I would like to buy a new TV over the next few weeks and I am interested in LG OLED TV's, for a budget of around € 1100, to be delivered in Dublin area.

    I was wondering if you would be able to match the price I found online for a UK seller for TV models:

    * LG OLED55C7V of 1099 pounds (about 1246 euros)
    * LG OLED55B7V of 999 pounds (about 1133 euros)

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Larry,

    Not sure where you have spotted that pricing but if it is a site called Londontvs.co.uk I would proceed with caution - the site was only registered this day last week, they are not authorised dealers for any of the brand's they advertise and they only accept bank transfers.

    On the €1100 Oled pricing, unfortunately we are not quite at that level yet.

    Drop us a line with links to your pricing and we will do our best to assist.

    Hi John,

    thank you so much for the information and, yes, I found these wonderful deals on such website, too good to be true.

    Actually I see the mentioned website is offline today...it looks like it did not last long! :)

    Is the LG OLED55C7V TV model back in stock? I would prefer it to the "B7V" version thanks to a more stable stand, I have not much space on my TV desk. There are a lot of misleading myths about the comparison between C7V vs B7V models but, as you confirmed above and, based on the following link, specs-wise they should be exactly the same, as shown in displayspecifications.com website

    Otherwise, would any of the new LG LED 2018 TV models for around 1000 euro get a little closer to OLED-experience and be any better compared to 2017 models like models? It's very hard to find reviews/comparison about them.

    I was looking at the LG SJ810V/SJ850V 2017 models, which seemed to promise a lot, but I'm not convinced by the disappointing issues like washed-out blacks (when watching TV in low-light room) and rather bad backlight bleedings, ruining their potential of a being a high-quality TV with very good embedded sound quality from HK.

    Anyway, I prefer to stick to LG thanks to its great WebOS and on-screen pointer, don't know if any other brand will introduce it sooner or later.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Larry,

    thankfully you did not purchase from that website - we have at least one Customer who was trying to price-beat us against them who has purchased a very expensive OLED from them and paid via TT and unfortunately it appears she has lost her money.

    The LG OLED 55C7 is now a completely finished line for us and there are no more arriving - as you say technically its identical to the 55B7 with the exception of the colour and the stand.

    In terms of the SJ810 - I think they are super TV's and I honestly haven't seen any of the issues you mention above - however to be honest they just are not comparable to the OLED models - the OLED picture is significantly superior but again to be fair for instance the LG 55SJ810 is just £649 / €699 so it's really unfair to directly compare the two - at £649 / €699 I feel that the 55SJ810 is about the best 55" led at that price level at the moment.

    Thanks again for the posts and keep me posted if we can help in any way,

    ATVB,

    Soarer, jacksie66,

    Please take a moment to read the Charter for this forum, interventions like this are inappropriate as explained in the Charter:
    • As a general principle, if you're not asking Richersounds for a quote/information/involved in a deal here, it's usually best to proceed with caution. A more judicious approach to interventions and expressing opinions is needed here than would otherwise prevail in a general discussion area, such as the Home Entertainment Forums.
    • If you see a post which is looking for a quote or advice from RS, please resist the urge to offer your opinion ! Such queries are not an open invitation for posters to make suggestions etc, these queries should be left to RS to answer. If queries or requests for quotes attracted everyone's opinion, the forum would be unworkable. This is not intended to prevent the usual chat and banter which you will regularly see on the RS forum.
    • If you have an opinion on some matter related to the items that Richersounds sells, or you wish to give people the benefit of your advice on some related issue, Please do not post it in this forum ! There are other fora on Boards in the Tech section on Home Entertainment or TV related topics, or in the Consumer fora, which are suitable locations for endowing Boardies with the benefit of any advice or opinion you wish to offer. Bearing in mind the purpose of this forum, posts along the lines described here are not appropriate and will be suitably snipped or deleted without warning. This approach is taken to ensure the workability of this particular forum and to ensure that general advice and discursive posts are made in the appropriate forum. This is not intended to prevent the usual chat and banter which you will regularly see on the RS forum.

    If you have any queries about the Charter feel free to contact me by PM, please do not post any further on this thread.
