Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Munster will close this out now.
Bloody hope so. 16/5 for Munster to win by more than 12.

Looking like the standard French showing. Came out swinging but they won't have the stomach for it if Munster take that and survive. If Munster get the first score in this half, I reckon it's going to be a comfortable scoreline.

Based on the first 25 minutes of pressure thats a bloody good outcome

No kidding, we were really under the cosh

That said, the defence was excellent, we kept them out and showed real dog

Awesome performance vs a very good Toulon team

That's was 100% a penalty try. Blessed. Now to use that break to munsters advantage

    Facundo Isa, the Toulon openside.

Two big moments there, 100% penalty try and yellow for Zebo, no intention to play the ball, and I’m not sure the Munster try would have been given by too many other refs.. but great play/thinking by Murray! Toulon look powerful, but Munster playing very well too. A big half coming up!

TMO gave that try, Nigel gave him every opportunity to not give it. Didn't see the first incident so cant say.

French teams will be feeling a bit hard done by, the Scarlets ref was a home town decision boyo.

That's some rate of tackling Munster had to keep up. If they have to continue to do that, they will get tired and injuries will mount.
It depends on how smart Toulon play now.
Is there much of a wind?

And that 50/50 has not worked out in Munster's favour. I guess that evens something up from earlier.

Jaysus Munster can feel aggrieved with that decision there.

Pass from Bastero to Ashton looked forward

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,071 ✭✭✭✭wp_rathead

Feck, that was flat, hoping was forward

  • Registered Users Posts: 116 ✭✭Chex LeMeneux

Great try to be fair! Ashton has been class today. Great trail running. Bastarauds inside outside run was top. Pulled the fb out position and made the gap

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 8,140 ✭✭✭fitz

That looked clearly forward. Bit of evening up going on?

Finding it hard to see how that doesn't leave the hand forward

Toulon, despite playing brainlessly at times go ahead. Munster have offered zero in attack
