    Hi can this be availed of without direct debit and on line billing.

    The switching bonus is also available for Smarter Pay As You Go customers. Otherwise, it is only available for direct debit customers.

    Thanks for that.  oap here trying to de-tech if that is the right word.

    1. As a bill paying customer the only way to avoid Direct Debits is to stay on the basic
    standard rates. Is that right.

    2. Taking the yearly average families usage of gas at todays price what would that cost on the standard rate.

    Thank you for getting back to us.

    Non-direct debit customers are on our standard gas unit rates, which is 0.04783 (excluding VAT) and 0.05429 (including VAT).

    The estimated annual usage is 11,000kWh. As such based on those unit rates, the amount would be:

    11000 x 0.04783 = 526.13 (excluding VAT)

    11000 x 0.05429 = 597.79 (including VAT)

    These figures don't include carbon tax or standing charges. See here for more details on calculating the Annual Estimated Bill here.

    We can only speak based in general terms in relation to savings or discounts in this department, It may be worth calling the Sales team on 1850 305 090 to see if there is anything further that they can offer.

    There is also a loyalty scheme that all customers can avail of here.
