Brendan mentioned twice that he was "plumbing 6 months ago". Is he implying that that's a bad thing? He'll be back plumbing in a few months anyway, even if he wins it. He'll have his tail between his legs then.

He was missing the Sunday results show but was there for the Saturday live shows.

He was due to miss two weekends of live shows so he should be back next weekend then.

(But probably won’t even have an act left)

I doubt it. More likely to be commenting on how different life is for him now than 6 months ago. I think it’s a fair point to make. I’d say he’ll do alright for himself after this. Fair play to him, I say.
