Hamel goes over the edge and the boat cracks as it hits the river beneath, now a much wider stream. It slowly begins filling up with water.

He tries to make it to the foot of the waterfall by land.

As a common inns woman, she never learned how to swim and drowns. The stone of resurrection is on her person, as she sinks to the bottom of the lake. It won't activate as she would simply die again, so it waits for the others.

The water is pretty cold and with the sun now setting, it is hard to see down into it.

Koln uses his returned knife and the staves to fashion a decent splint using his woodcraft skills.

He then attaches it tightly to his leg using his leather belt.

Kluz decides he needs to sleep.

He pulls his spare clothes from his pack and lays them on the ground. Then puts a woolen blanket over him.

He beckons to both ladies.

'Body heat will help us keep warm ladies....'

Kluz sighs and lets the women help him to his feet. He packs away the spare clothes and hobbles towards the cave.

'You are right of course, Hamel. I still say we should huddle together. If you were to gather some wood I could fashion some kindling and make a fire.'
