That's pretty poor pay for a (former) champ. I'd say she might retire because she won't be getting any more PPV cuts unless she regains the belt.

125 there with a tin can champion waiting for her.

I get that, but surely the comain event should be better paid.

    It's all about drawing power.

The worst disparty has to be Mickey Gall vs CM Punk at 203.

Gall absolutely battered him and was paid 15K (+15k bonus for winning), while CM Punk was paid a cool 500k for a dismal debut.

If McG could somehow use his bluff, and get the fighters to form some kind of union, to guarantee proper pay for all the fighters, he'd go down in history as a absolute legend. Or be the antihero that forces the UFC to look after them, he'd be infamous.

There was also only 1 CM Punk and 20 lads that could have stepped in for Micky G.

Ah yeah absolutely, but that's the point - it's about star power.

When is Punk gonna fight again?

Wow. Fighting another guy who lost his only pro fight to Mickey Gall as well, also by submission early in first round.

Jackson is a journalist. Punk is a spectacle, nothing more.

    Khabib - Submission
Jackson is a close friend of Mick Maynard, that's why he got both fights.
