Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

amazed that commentators don't understand the away goal rule.

They prob are saying they need 5 total.

Poor keeping from Ederson. Liverpool lived on the edge in that first half and City should have been 2 up but they look to have probably done the job now.

Salah is on a different level

They need to score 5 in total, 4 more goals. Maybe that’s what they meant but I don’t know because I’m watching on BT.

Won't feel comfortable until it's over. City have more goals in them, and the longer Aguero stays on the bench, the happier I'll be.
Behave. We won't get another 4.

    Game over.

    Switching to the Roma game.

    Sh*t is getting real there

City desperately needed the second goal before half-time. They have had nowhere near the same level of dominance in the second half. Credit to Klopp for composing the Liverpool players, but Pep's outburst at the ref offered the City players an excuse. The lack of Aguero and reaction from Pep is baffling.

No, they meant that they needed 5 goals altogether.

How about you delete it so people not wanting to know the score won't see it.

A dead on red card for Sterling there.

Attempt at a eye-gouge and then a sneaky kick at Virgil's face.

    City were very lucky there

Sterling nasty with his little kicks and scrapes.

That's a joke of a yellow card for VVD. They should appeal it. Sterling is a snake. A despicable human being.

So you need four goals what to do I know bring on Aguero:cool:
Who to take of David Silva:confused::confused::confused:

Goal was coming, City haven't been good since half-time, the disallowed goal has affected them.

However, the ref has been awful for them, Firmino should have got a yellow for the last challenge on De Bruyne which would have been a second one.
Good to see some Liverpool fans recognising the shambles of a performance from the ref. It appears the ref and Guardiola have history. He looks to be a very poor ref. City probably blew it in the first leg when they needed a goal in the second half, still it's scandalous the influence the ref has had on this game.

Thought he was booking Robertson for the little tug back, ridiculous decision.

Or maybe, as you thought, I posted in the wrong thread. It’s the OTT bitchy reply that made me not take you seriously. Another poster asked nicely for me to delete it, so I did.

Yep, in fairness the ref has got a lot wrong. He's also far too card-happy.

In all fairness Liverpool have looked a lot better since the start of the second half.

Klopp obviously had good words at half time.

    Do you know him?

You can never judge a footballer's character or personality from what they do on the football field where they are doing everything within their power to win a game.

Chelsea fan here. Half the battle at this stage of the champions league is bottle - City don’t have any. Silva, de bruyne, Walker, otamendi all playing the occasion not the game.
