Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Great display by Liverpool Milner has been brilliant...be better for them if they didn't have the shame of a section of their fans putting the city bus under stress hanging over the performance.

This tie is over tonight unless City can come away with a 1 goal deficit. They'll not stop Liverpool from scoring in the return leg.

What was the pre match incident that Dunphy was referring to?

This tie is all but over.
City are gone mentally and have been shown up to be flat track bullies.

Deserve a proper slap on the wrists for that but they'll probably get away with a warning.

City beat Liverpool 5-0 at home earlier in the season. City haven't started playing yet. I wouldn't say it's over yet

I am guess it is the cans and bottles and some smoke bombs thrown at the City bus as it made its final turn towards the ground.

Window smashed and new bus needed for the players return to Manchester

Are you seriously comparing Mourinho's approach to that of Klopp?

It's a pity Jose probably won't because City look like they are shocking under pressure from the two games where Liverpool have gone after them.

Anyway long way to go yet and Liverpool will run out of steam here eventually. It's all about the next goal, City score and this tie is back on with a full 90 to play at home. If Liverpool can get another or even just not let one in then I think the mountain will be too big.

Yeah, Sky covering it. Damage was bad. Another bus is being brought in to bring them home. Here is one of many links :

Hardly destroyed. A door was damaged which is in no way acceptable and Liverpool and Klopp were right to apologise. Anyone found to have thrown anything should get a lifetime ban.

A dozen bottles thrown at the City bus by assholes.

It seems obvious, but a City goal actually changes everything.

For what? Not accepting people acting like idiots? If that was my club or most clubs in the UK, we would get hammered over that and rightly so.

Great first half, but that is all it has been so far. If we can keep a clean sheet then we are favs, but if it even finishes 3-1 it is 50/50 imo.

The display from City though people may claim it was a contributing factor and who's to honestly say that it wasn't?

    That was against ten men.
Citys players heads dropped after the second goal tonight.
    Liverpool have their number.

Every club has them. On to the footy again. Can Liverpool keep this intensity up for 90 mins, would be impressive

Tie far far from over, Even if City only get a goal back and it ends 3-1 you seriously telling me they couldn't win 2-0 at home.

The players from 30 years ago would have taken it out on the opposition, but you're right, the pampered millionaires nowadays probably throw their toys out.

Yup fully expect Pep to figure it in his after comments.

We all know this could have happened anyway but it does taint the result.

Wandered in here to see what the fans have to say about the match.

I must be in the wrong place because all i can see is whinging.

Man for man, Liverpool are second best in the majority of positions, but they're set up brilliantly, and really taking advantage of it.

As an Arsenal fan I was delighted to see the Ox get a goal.
