Hi- does anyone know if the price logged on the ppr is always the price paid? Also are all sales logged
on the ppr. Last q- I notice lots of houses on the ppr are marked as not full market value-what exactly does this mean? Thanks

Not full value could be the council selling to a in-situ tenant(and getting a discount), a house in which one person buys out the other person and the title changes, eg siblings who part own a house, a estate sale where a son/wife buys the others out, a divorce, etc etc. Basically there are lots of circumstances where the notification of the amount paid to revenue might not be the actual price of the house, but is justified in terms of the sale price and the tax owed on it.

For new builds, the price is listed before VAT.
So a house that sold for €100,000 would show up as €88,105
