I lodged a cheque last Wednesday which was not a bank of Ireland. I know it will take 5 days to clear, just wondering if last Friday and Monday are counted as working days?

    Hi Sworksvenge,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

A cheque drawn on another Irish bank takes five working days to clear. Bank holidays, like Good Friday and Easter Monday don't count.

    Thanks
    Tara

Sorry, does that mean that they don't count as working days? Just so I know for myself:)

That's correct bank holidays and weekends are not working days.

    Thanks
    Tara
