Ordered FTTH about 5-6 weeks ago and had it installed successfully back on 10th March. All working ok with no issues and getting close to 280Mb speeds on my connection. (ordered 300Mb FTTH package)

Fast forward to about 10 days ago when i get calls from Eir installation saying that they want to come round an install FTTH.
Told them it had already been installed, but they said that it had not been 'activated' on their side so someone will have to come round.
Yesterday KN Network man came round and replaced both working ONT and Modem/Router and said that it should activate correctly now ..
Speeds at first were ok, but by late afternoon the speeds had dropped from approx 270-280Mb down to 8-15Mb .. Not good.

Tried to log a fault via phone earlier this morning but to be honest it was a joke .. I have no issue with interference on my WiFi, or a broken Ethernet cable
nor my laptops are all broken -- i ended the call as it was going nowhere.

I have tried various different laptops with gigabit ethernet connections directly wired into the router ..same problem -- the speeds are a fraction of what they should be.

There is obviously an issue on the network/ONT/Router somewhere as before they were replaced everything was fine .. and nothing has changed on my own internal network.

Let me know if you want me to PM my details to you..

    Thanks/Rob
