Absolutely delighted Robert got thru - had me roaring with laughter
Rise Unbroken - school play stuff!

    Gruffydd - amazing voice

Enjoyed all the acts tonight bar RU and stripper guy

Don't get the magician act - simple tricks played up with a sob story - won't take him far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,281 ✭✭✭✭mdwexford

    Delighted the comedian won.
Wasn't expecting that much from him tonight but his material was hilarious. Really showed up how bad last nights guy was.

The Welsh guy has a great voice and seems a nice lad but I'm bored as feck with people singing songs at this stage. Go for X Factor so I don't have to see them.

Would have much rathered the magician. I don't have a clue how he does his stuff and it entertains me far more than someone singing.

4 out of 6 acts in the final now are singers I think?!!

Magician - strip away the story and...actually I guess he his a good magician...distraction

What about the father and son duo. Is that tomorrow?

What was Walliams on about the comedy guy deserves to be one of the biggest stars on TV. He wasn't anywhere near good enough for that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,035 ✭✭✭✭Mam of 4

Liked these two in their audition , not so much tonight tbh .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,015 ✭✭✭Eggs For Dinner

Some weak vocals there by the kid

I'm not normally one for dance acts but they were slick

I'm wee bit behind but liking baba yeaga, pretty good, if creepy AF! Maybe Simon Cowell wants even more blooming singers in the final

I don't like the father son singers at all, audition was cringe worthy.

I loved the interaction with the background visuals, really made it interesting to watch, and something different away from the usual typical dance act.

Father and son duo were better at audition, can't see them getting through, but who knows. Simon wouldn't say anything bad seeing as they are his golden buzzer act.

Really like Baba yeaga, not a fan off the two lads. The dad is a better singer than the son, harsh to say but they weren't good at all

Father and son weren't terrible but they weren't exactly good either

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,357 ✭✭✭✭gmisk

The balance guy is a lot of fun, they really need someone like this to make the final or it will just be singers and a couple of dancers zzz

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,689 ✭✭✭✭skipper_G

Balance dude was pretty goddamn cool

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,035 ✭✭✭✭Mam of 4

Ha , him soaking them and covering them in toilet paper was brilliant :D

That was pretty awful but totally worth it to see the judges get soaked

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,027 ✭✭✭duffman13

He was very annoying but the girls were genuinely pissed so I liked him :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,756 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

So bad it was good for the wrong reasons. :pac:

    Totally agree ha.

It's a shame there wasn't more physical comedy because some of the things in the little intro were cool.

    Kids would absolutely love him!

Anybody have any picks for the winner yet? I mean the whole show - my money is on Griffith, unbelievable voice.

    He definitely has a chance.
But I think one of the comedians a winner for me the lost voice guy or the gay guy with the comedy songs.

I would personally pick the gay guy he had me in stitches.

I'd love him to win also , now if he sang my favourite song it'd be even better :D

Or Lost Voice Guy , I'd be happy for him to win if G W didn't.

    They were UNREAL

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,357 ✭✭✭✭gmisk

    Dvj excellent as expected.

I think from this semi I would like and predict the balance guy and Dvj, seem most obvious ones to me.

But not the easiest one to call I think.
I'd like baba yeaga but can't see it, the opera singer might have a chance too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,035 ✭✭✭✭Mam of 4

They were great , but too much like mini diversity wannabees, even the dance style I thought .

    ETA,

I didn't realise Diversity were choreographing them :o

I could actually barely remember who was on before DVJ until you said it, they were that good

I'm just so bored with dance crews in general on this show, they all feel a bit samey to me

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,327 ✭✭✭✭leahyl

I thought the comedian was funny and he seems like an ordinary bloke - would be nice to see him get a break

Well they have diversity choreographing so expected them to be excellent, and boy were they!
No more singers in final be good!

He was good as well, a bit like Tim Vine cheesy but made me laugh, but as bf points out I laugh very easily :)

Of course they did, they were Simon's golden act, *cough* rigged *cough*.

Tbh, wouldn't surprise me if they win it.

    Diversity Junior.

    Oh ffs :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,281 ✭✭✭✭mdwexford

The comedian was very funny tonight and deserved to go through.

The father son act are average and boring. Joke they got put through.

I'm bored of dance acts but DVJ were very slick tonight. Great routine.

Balance guy was crazy!! Really impressive.

If the Asians guys who have one balance on the other ones head don't get through tomorrow I riot!!!

    Diversity Junior.

Good to see the money Diversity won a few years back being put in to getting other kids involved - I'm not having a go btw.
While some of their moves were same-y (and the start of it totally ripped off Bruno Mars' 2014 Superbowl show) but some of their other moves brought something different

Liked the comedian - the one liners were coming thick and fast. Was mesmerised by your Russian woman
Much preferred the aliens over DVJ (as other have said samey samey) - the synchro with the visuals was great.
Frigging father and son going thru is crap - be interesting to see what the poll vote was (Amanda in Simon's pocket for sure). Never enough cheese on my popcorn to make me feel happy about that.
