    Just wondering what is the Warranty in Ireland if you purchase an Apple Ipad i was reading this :6 years from date of delivery

    No, you have 6 years to make a claim in SCC under SOGASA. That doesn't mean it comes with a 6 year warranty.

    I think you’re mixing up warranty and consumer rights a little.

    A warranty is a guarantee provided by the manufacturer or retailer. You’d have to contact Apple to find out what is the warranty on an iPad.

    However, you also have consumer rights, guaranteed by the law of this land. The most relevant law is the SoGaSoS Act, although there are others depending on the situation. Any manufacturer warranty can not override or demean your consumer rights.
