Healthy fast food in Limerick?

Some days I don't have the time to make dinner and a takeaway would be so handy... but I'm trying to be healthy. I know of Chopped on the Dock Road and Camile in the Parkway. Anywhere else along the same lines that does takeaway/delivery in Limerick?

I don't know much about Chopped, but I wouldn't consider Camille particularly healthy. I would recommend Canteen on Catherine St. Their meals use fresh, local ingredients/produce, and I find them to be relatively healthy.

Nourish do healthy takeaways. I haven't used them myself but I know a friend who has used them and has recommended them to me. He's in to his health and fitness so would be picky enough food wise. http://www.nourishkitchen.ie/

Aroi ? I’ve seen Munster players in there regularly so I presume it’s passed The Dietician team within munster as healthy eating.

Aroi definitely wouldn't be considered healthy, it was probably the Munster front rows in there :D

Never heard of any of these places. Probably because I don't eat healthy. What kind of stuff do these places serve? Is it all veggy stuff?

Whatever it is will most likely be laced in palm oil, so it won't be healthy!

All the munster players eat in 'Factory' in Castletroy.

some of their food is healthy

Delish is semi healthy as well.

Zest (3 locations) is healthy enough

    Badass Burritos on Catherine Street.

Went to chopped... didn’t look fresh, didn’t taste fresh and the wrap I got was the usual Irish size... bigger = better mentality.
The 2 working there didn’t appear like they eat healthily themselves and didn’t seem to really know what they were at. (Didn’t know the difference between cooked and smoked salmon for instance!)

For me Canteen and the grove are the best by far, however they don’t make you feel very welcome in the grove, almost like your a hinderance!!

I haven’t tried the fireststation or that place in ballysimon mentioned earlier in the thread.

    Marty.

Donkey Ford's. I seen a rugby player there once must be healthy and stuff.

Recommend their artisan hand thrashed grass fed wild boar links and their pan seared organic chipped taters

I'm a massive fan of their organic vegan battered sausage...

Theres the "good food outlet" on the ballysimon rd just before the rail bridge if you're coming from town. Not a takeaway exactly but they have healthy preprepared meals (made locally) that you can shove in the oven or microwave.

Ah - Le joie du Donquée, avec un petit whitenin love!

You simply cannot get a table in there. And even a Frenchman couldn't understand their menus.

Sano Healthy Café in Delta hasn’t been mentioned. It’s owned by La Cucina
