Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's all set up for a classic Young dive for a penalty to win it.

Why does sterling keep fouling young?

I think Man U should always wear black shorts and socks. Wasn't there a time, maybe in the 80s, when they did wear black shorts as a norm?

Apparently the kit for next season is black shorts and socks

Banana being thrown at either Young or Sterling, real classy.

    Missed that. Shocking if true.

I thought it was a plastic bottle. Even so it's scummy to throw stuff at players but not unusual from City in derbies.

I'm fairly sure I saw it anyway. Just after that incident on the touchline.

Wow, they acted quickly on my suggestion. Impressive.

Seriously? Proper dense whoever threw it considering half the lads on the team they support are black. Then again racists aren't the brightest bunch.

Didn't Man U pelt things at Craig Bellamy at one time?

EDIT: Is it a banana? Looks like a bottle actually.

Some football fans are a bit thick? No way.

    ;)

I doubt we'll ever see a Merseyside and Manchester Derby Day where both matches are so meaningless in the context of final league positions.

Sky desperately trying to hype another match where even the players don't seem particularly arsed.

That looks like a bottle. Thought it was a bottle at the time also. 1-0 City. Kompany with a brilliant header.

Basically a free header, Kompany gets so much power behind those.

A bottle-shaped banana, don't see many of those these days

Man U players not being aggressive enough for my liking. They really need to get stuck into those City players, really really get stuck into them. A few two footers etc to give their fans something to shout about.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,248 ✭✭✭✭BoJack Horseman

    Smalling showing his inferiority there.

He lacks both strength & skill, so all he could do was was hang onto Kompany's shirt for dear life.

Nobody threw a banana, it was a bottle. Which is also idiotic...but not racist afaik

Good tactics from Pep, batter Man U and have it done and dusted by half time and then relax and take players off for the second half in time for Tuesday.

Poor attempt from the keeper though.

    Who knows.
It might be unfair on the guy, but he might well have checked out on this team already.
