Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mopey Jesus on the pitch 5 minutes and he's lost the head.

Yeah, just thinking that. I think Spurs could turn them over.

And Spurs know how to play very aggressively.

    City are fragile when rattled

Best Premier League team of all time my ass. Can't award that kind of praise to a team that bottles a 2-0 half-time lead against their main rivals.

Amazing to think it took Martin Atkinson's deplorable refereeing to get some aggression into the game.

Chances to win the title at home against your biggest rival don’t come around much if ever. This will haunt them for years to come.

Yeah, the titling winning Arsenal and United sides were better teams than these. Empty seats in the stands. How the hell can you leave a game like this early?

Credit to Man U for the second half performance. No fear shown. A complete contrast to the first.

An absolutely cracking game of football, entertaining as f*ck.

Sterling and Atkinson have to shoulder a lot of the blame for this loss.

We have ourselves a title race, folks.

Credit to United and JM for that second half. Not sure what he or they did at HT but they were brilliant in that second half.

There was never going to be a guard of honour today, even if we hadn't fcuked up.

Got to admit to walking out just after half time when City had already put 5 past us at Maine Rd in the late 80s

This match was very different though

Far too many missed chances for City and two penalties not given. Switched off thinking the game was over after half-time. Can only blame themselves really. Well Atkinson a bit too.

I know, it'll still have to wait. Would have been at Spurs but they could easily get a point or three.

This much maligned United team and their much maligned coach just beat the soon to be Premier League champions on their own patch.

Whatever about the lack of quality at United, you can't fault their character or heart. This isn't the first time they've come from 2-0 down to win this season.

Seriously though that should be the end of talking about this being the greatest premier league side anyway.

2/3 of their biggest games in the season and they bottle them.

  • Hahahah can't wait to stick it to the ***** in here

I feel that that wouldn't have happened if city didn't have a huge game coming up. Still a huge effort was needed from Utd though, that was entertaining.

Shouldn't take being embarrassed to get a rollicking though. They should be 'on it' from the whistle.

Fair play Utd. Great second half. City will be in a mentally fragile place on Tuesday after that.

City fans crying just goes to show what this game meant to them but it's not the end of the world...they will still win the league easily.

It won't help, that's for sure. As far as I was thinking, the CL has gone (even if we'd won today). Liverpool will score against us, meaning we'd have to get 5. Which isn't going to happen.

Probably penalty this and penalty that

Probably won't say anything about city's constant fouling or Fernandihno disgusting tackle.

Guard of honour for them coming out of the tunnel for the second half?
Be interesting to see if Jose makes a halftime scapegoat sub.
Mourinho just so far out of his depth at the highest level these days it's embarrassing.
Pogba in the middle of writing a 90 minute resignation letter.
Should be fun at full time

    Great turnaround by Utd.

But after watching Atkinson's horror-show performance today, is it any wonder why no English refs are going to the World Cup....

In fairness I was reading the utd thread during the first half and the abuse in there was worse than on here, so your own fans were just as bad.

Kyle Walker tweeted the same thing after the game. It seems that every week, the talk is about the latest howler from him, or him, or him. They are very poor.
