Aldi cctv system

    Can’t see anywhere on that the price, it would be handy as a deterrent and also for you to be able to monitor activity outside your premises ok but the resolution of the cameras would be a real let down in terms of spec. You would struggle to be able to grab a frame and identify anybody or a car reg for example from any distance.

    There's cheaper kits on Amazon. Have a look at other thread on this from this week.

    720p 1mp is grand for seeing regs at about 25feet but would struggle with a decent face shot at that distance you need probably 1080p 2mp above to get good face shot

    I haven't seen cheaper packages on Amazon (4 cameras and hard disc recorder with iPhone access for €199)

    Don't know if anyone has bought and installed the Aldi package and how it's working out.
