Enjoy that people of Limerick. Well done.

    He thinks he's Bill McLaren.

JP McManus will be sponsoring a well earned holiday for the team now.

I thought he spoke quite well, well done limerick, but gutted for Galway,

I thought so too, lots of people standing around looking vaguely bemused. Maybe they’re in shock. :D

Michael o muirahurtegh used to do it and Marty is piggybacking on it. And then he goes to mojos usually.

Yeah but it was the ref dragging Galway back into it!! No free at one end and goal at the other.

    Nonsense.
He let a Limerick shoulder in the back go for the first goal when it should have been a free out.
He made incorrect decisions but not for one team over another.

It was better when fans were allowed on to the pitch.

As I’ve said the pitch invasion would bring something to days like this.

    Would you not agree ?

I am a fan of a pitch invasion alright but regardless - they are banned in Croker and there is 4 or 5 absolute units of stewards manning entries to the pitch.

To call it sh*te celebrations based on a lack of a pitch invasion, which are not allowed, is unjust.

I'm sure videos of the gaelic grounds will filter through and the homecoming in the coming days and I am sure they will be epic.

It doesn't for the players and they are the ones who matter most. Countless players have gone on record saying they prefer having the pitch to themselves to celebrate with each other and their families.

    Limerick deserving champs

The last few mins was crazy

    But the better team overall

It was better when fans were allowed on to the pitch.

    No way.

If you were playing and worked as hard as those lads have you’d want to celebrate together. Not with a load of straw hats on the beer for the day.

It was better when fans were allowed on to the pitch.

for you maybe, but not the players. Let them enjoy the moment TOGETHER.

Galway were 8 points behind and 8 minutes went up on the board.

Only mistake ref made was not bringing the equalising point opportunity up the pitch. Perhaps he thought it might be just too obvious what he was up to. Some disgraceful decisions in the last few mins.

Well done Limerick. A hard fought victory.

Marty f*cking Morrissey is bereft of any qualities that would go towards being any good at live sporting commentary. Utter egoist. Spends inordinate time waffling on pre prepared horse manure about the 'people of Ireland' instead of focussing on calling the match. More references to dead limerick people and limerick villages than to the actual limerick team! Horrific.
