Explain 12v distribution panel switch please

    Hi,
    I'm a campervan newbie so make allowances please !

    On the 12v distribution panel there is a switch with 3 positions car / van / off.
    I know it's to do with the batteries. How do I use this ?

    It's a selector switch for the meter display or maybe appliance power source.

    Some of those fuses are the incorrect size.

    Might be best if I get someone to look over the electrics so to make sure everything is ok
