That was such an annoying loss/win - TAA **** the bed right from the start against El Sharreway, he really needs to cop on, I know he is young but is much better than that. His brain seems to go if he starts poorly. The peno was an utter farce, Klavan didn't move a muscle.

If Liverpool win the CL with this midfield and defence it'll trump Djimi Traore's greatest moment.

Delighted with that. Context of the injuries, scoreline, recent fixtures etc all have to be taken into play. Unbelievable achievement.

We can beat Real. Sure, we could lose 5-0. But we could also win 5-0. Genuinely.

The last time we played Real was one of the most deflating moments for this club. Went to the Bernabeu with a crap team, totally out of place, and we knew the previous year was a purple patch that would be a while coming again.

Now we have a fantastic team, manager, and future. Win or lose, we can challenge for everything next year.

But make no mistake, Liverpool can win.

Job done, will give Real a false sense of hope and most importantly, Klopp will have two full weeks to work with the team and we'll be grand for the final.

Really not looking forward to the head-wreck of the transfer window - at least it's 3 weeks shorter this year - the committee will be busy based on what we need to solidify the squad....
