Great first half by Liverpool. Talking point has to be the non-penalty - unless the referee is blind it was a truly astonishing decision.

I know it's not really that important, but would be nice to finish ahead of Tottenham and quieten that Spurs lad in the Premier League thread who was giving it large a couple of days ago.

I think we might be safe enough for the CL place now.

The ref must have been dared by the other refs to not give us a penalty though.

Would show some progress from last season and is also worth £2m extra.

Think it also impacts next seasons CL income as well.

The difference on group stage tv pool money alone would buy another less obvious gem like Robertson

If I'm not mistaken it is important as it gets us a higher percentage of Champions league TV revenue next season. There is incremental rises based on league finishing position. So I'd like to finish 3rd for that reason alone.

River was dying on me all the time so I missed both goals and the peno claims...seems that whenever it freezes, something dramatic happens. 
Glad that it's going according to plan. Now we need to kill them off and make those three substitutions.
