Rodgers would do well at Arsenal.

Wouldn't want him to become there coach.

Rodgers would be interesting - see if his time at Celtic will improve him as a premier league - but I still don't think it'll be the kind of move to dramatically improve Arsenal.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I think Rodgers would be good as well, but Arsenal will probably want somebody more proven in Europe, I'd imagine.

Is anyone still worried about top four ,Iv a horrible feeling we could get dumped out by Roma and lose this weekend and against Chelsea then Draw the final day to miss top four ,
What wrong with me , Ideal world we win our next beat WBA and Stoke and sneek past Roma,

The latest on injures from the presser.

Clyne out with a muscle strain.

Lovren & Gomez back in contention for the squad this weekend.

Can and Lallana maybe be back before the end of the season.

    No.

Dunno why they were asking him about BM though .........

Klopp intends to remain with Liverpool for the remainder of his contract and admits it would be difficult for a club even the size of Bayern to prise him away from Anfield.

"I've never had an exit clause in one of my contracts," he said. "If Bayern had really been interested, no matter what I would have done, this would have been a complicated move.

"I have a contract for four more years in Liverpool and the club are happy with me. That's why it makes total sense that they (Bayern) didn't try."

Interview was done with Sky Germany, Sky UK just pulling it up for clicks

Oddschecker have him as 3rd favourite - Viera is top favourite - that has already been in the press recently - and Tuchel is second favourite but I thought he had ruled it out himself already.
Rafa is 9th at 14/1 - I would have thought Loew might be a good fit - have a decent World Cup and then go smell his arm pits and ass crack in the PL...

Rafa wouldn't suit Arsenal , Rodgers I can see ,
Anyone thinks Leon Bailey is worth a look this summer

Benitez would be perfect for them ... instill some discipline and steel in them... .

How is Coutinho doing in Spain anyway ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,928 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

I'd be very surprised if one of the big 6 clubs pick a manager that isn't a successful winning name value manager anymore after Rodgers & Moyes both failed when given the chance at a big club I think that pretty much ended mid table and Scottish managers getting a chance at the top table.

I don't see Arsenal going for Brendan or Rafa myself.

I'm a cynical bollox but even that is too difficult for me to even consider. I'm just enjoying the moment at this stage.

Doing alright it seems.... 4 assists in his last 4 games. They're miles ahead at the top of the league though, so it all feels a bit pointless. Wonder if he regrets leaving that bit early.

So listening To the totally football podcast at the end they have a certain bookmaker in to talk about odds for the upcoming games.

This book making is taking bets for this weekends Liverpool game for Sturridge to score anytime - this is a player who can't play i hope those people who bet get their money back as well i am sure that should not be allowed

If you back a player to score in a game and he doesn't play in the game your bet is void, stake returned.

It's unlikely we'll be overtaken, but possible given our distractions. Hopefully a win tomorrow can nearly put it to bed anyhow.

I can't see it happening with their fixtures left, but I'd prefer Chelsea to get CL ahead of Spurs to be honest.

Be interesting to see who Arsenal bring in, if they get some like Tuchel things could get incredibly interesting.

Think Tuchel had a massive falling out with the BVB scouting / director of football lads that Arsenal have brought in, so I think Tuchel would be fairly unlikely.

Rodgers is in with a big big shout IMO.

They should try there hardest to get Simone he'd be class
Here's a left field one why not go for Conte he's  a great coach just seems to have fallen out with the big men at Chelsea, Or is the hatred to much ?

No but I can tell you everyone loves Harry Wilson at Hull and Marco Grujic at Cardiff and er that's it - Ojo, Kent, Ejaria making very little headway at Fulham, Bristol City and Sunderland respectively. Allan (the Brazilian) is back having picked up an injury which ends his season, Not sure about the rest to be honest. Of all those on loan I'd say Wilson is definitely the one to hope gets a squad place next season. Grujic maybe could do with a second loan at a Prem club which could yet be Cardiff of course. He has been tailored for the No 6 role and if you can believe some of what's been said Ruben Neves will be playing that position next season.

ps visit more often you slacker! :p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,928 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Ojo was doing well at Fulham and getting games I think injury put paid to that.

Ejaria was on a hiding to nothing going to Sunderland.

That is the point i was making you think those book makers and even those journos in the podcast would know that rule that loanees can't play against their parent club. But the book was advertising specials for West Brom to win and Sturridge to score anytime and may catch people out

Laurent Blanc would be good choice. He has won everything from the Premier League to the World Cup.
74% win rate with PSG with +264 GD
Scored 400 goals over 3 seasons with PSG.

Think he said during the week that he plans to leave at the end of his contract (in 4 years time I believe) and that he's already promised his wife he's taking a full year off then.

    Transfer rumors for Harry.

Dani Ceballos has agreed to join.

He would be well into his 40s then. I can't see him suiting klopps pressing game in midfield.

Such a pity every outlet which is carrying this story is of the budgie cage liner variety. No doubt Bad News Barrett Pearce will be along shortly to pour cold water on this.

If we sign neves I'd want him to stay and play with very good players around him making runs and plays, not loan him back right away, see what he is made off from the off.

No he didn't. He says he has 4 years left on his contract and that it would be difficult for other clubs to get Liverpool to agree to let him leave, even before considering what he'd want himself. That's it.

Didn't he say that after Liverpool he wants to take a year off as he promised his family?

He didn't however say that he was leaving when his contract is up. He did mention how ling he has on his existing contract but didn't really imply anything.
