Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Coach meet on Tuesday in the same spot as for the City one. Hopefully the idiots from that one stay away this time.

There will be no Roma fans calling the police to try and get it banned like City fans which only upped the tension. It has been done lots before but only when City fans moaned about it did we see those seens before the City game

Does not need to touch it just be beside it for the FA to give it to him

Anyone still watching this thing ? Christ it's tedious...

Just want to hear what Mo has to say - is it bad that I think he sounds like he's Borat's Egyptian cousin?

Will be funny if De Bryune wins PFA when whole of twitter thinks Salah has won.

I’d say Steve Nichol is a bit embarrassed right now...that prediction was up there with Richard Keyes’ Everton one.

Didn't realise that Panini is still a thing - all I can remember is that I kept getting stickers for players from Partick Thistle or Ipswich and the chewing gum, that was flat and the same size as the stickers, was absolutely rank, but still ate as chewing gum was still a cool thing to an 8 yr old...

    Is it confirmed? If so:
    1980 - Terry McDermott

    1983 - Kenny Dalglish

    1984 - Ian Rush

    1988 - John Barnes

    2006 - Steven Gerrard

    2014 - Luis Suarez

    2018 - Mohamed Salah

He's up there with some company.

Salah the only Liverpool player to make it into the team of the year, somehow 3 Spurs lads squeezed in.

Blame the London media, they just love Spurs.

God, this is car crash viewing on Twitter, the ‘host’ has to keep on encouraging the audience to clap, and he had to sush them when interviewing Southgate!

I’m only watching this now to see how bad it is!

Yep, I’ve seen that pic, but according to the PFA it still hasn’t been announced. Watching it live on Twitter and it hasn’t been done yet, just did the Ladies winner...

Always cracks me up how the English manager looks like a very earnest geography teacher that wants to connect with the kids, has a personal relationship with Jesus and likes squash and table tennis to keep fit...

Just about to announce it, unless there’s a difference between Player of the Year and Player’s Player of the Year!

    And the winner is...

    3rd Kane
    2nd De Bruyne
    1st Mo... :)

Well done Mo! and a nice message from the boss as well. Loved when he was asked if he expected to have such an amazing season when he returned to the Pl and he just said 'Yes' in about the most confident and lacking bullsh"t way possible!!! Roll on Tuesday...

It genuinely doesn't make sense that Kane can be up for YPOTY and not win it, but be in the top 3 for POTY when Sane isn't.

It would have been done as live I say if it went onto this time Liverpool would not have been happy with so many players travelling back so late with the game on Tuesday

great stuff for Mo... now hopefully he can be less selfish against Roma as he has been in the last few games. Could have squared it a few times and we could have scored more

No one's perfect and with his extraordinary goal return he's going to fancy his chances of scoring and not see the squaring it option as the thing to do all the time.

I believe Klopp gave an interview where he said in his first game he pulled Mo to one side and told him to be more greedy on front of goal.

I like my 40 goal a season strikers being selfish tbh

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,546 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

Salah’s selfishness is required to attain the amount of goals he has scored but his eleven assists this season also show that he is a team player.

I don’t see how he can be criticised in any way, apart from maybe needing a haircut!
