7 liter pressure sprayer

Bought this last year

Took it out to do some weeding and it’s not working/spraying though the pressure is building up as when I open the release valve a lot of high pressure air comes out.

Is there a method / knack that I am unaware of? Basically I’ve filled the sprayer, pumped until it gets tough to pump and then lock it in place, when I hit the spray button nothing comes out

You'll probably need to have a fiddle with the little screw on nozzle at the very tip. Either it's on too tight, or if it's been used before it could be clogged

There is also usually a filter in the handle near the valve you press.
Could be blocked.

Hocus Focus

With a sprayer of a different brand I found that the adjustment on the spraytip unscrews completely and can be cleared of any blockage. The liquid will pump out of the tip at a low pressure when the spraytip is removed, showing that the blockage is in the tip and not further back.
