Hi, I'm asking for a neighbour
Her daughter recently turned 18,she had applied for disability a couple of months before her birthday and has recently been approved. They got delayed applying due to issues beyond their control as they were told once she got the application in before she turned 18 it would be backdated to when she turned 16.
Has anyone any advice I can pass on please? They were expecting the extra to pay for medical equipment they got on the belief of the backdating.
